No, it is not me with my parents! But me as a parent with my daughter Maike (9) and my son Tom (6) around Christmas time '99. Partying during the Christmas and New Year period seems to never stop in this family - there are additonal birthdays to be celebrated exactly in that period. Frankly, I feel sorry for those who are born in that period. Not only with regard to the "combined Xmas and Birthday gift" - as many of those people argue..... :-) |

Yes, Santa
Claus was here!
You have never seen him? Well, look here! He has NO beard and is not only wearing red clothing! And don't ask for the bell! He did NOT have one. Would you believe it? And my daughter Maike caught him on his secret mission! But not that you believe, Santa Claus would have been embarrassed on being caught - no, he even issued a sympathetic smile. And all that after he had been caught playing with the Christmas tree in a hazardous manner! :-) And I don't want to hear again the rumour that Santa Claus does not exist! He does exist - here is the proof! |

Do you know the King's Quest series of computer adventure games? Well, my son Tom knows at least the 7th adventure and he loved it - as I did. :-))) Not to mention that I had organized a walk-through from the Internet - otherwise he would have had no chance. :-) Although his English knowledge is so rudimentary that he required quite some assistance in translating the English walk-through into well-spoken German. |

What would be Christmas
without a good Christmas Dinner? The rest of my immediate family
is already seated around my in-laws' table and there is much more family
floating around and preparing to be seated - however, I managed to get
only my immediate family on one photo.
Quite an achievement - if you'd seen how many people fit into that small room without applying any pressure. :-) |
